Tigger Bike Parade

For the first half of the year last year, Penelope went to a great little preschool, and was in the Tigger class.  They had a little bike parade in October, to celebrate the changing seasons.  They were so cute riding their little bikes!

We felt a little sorry for her when they announced the parade and we went through our bikes and the Strider bike that she rode usually was orange and very worn out.  We could kind of feel the winds of change (boy did they end up coming) so we didn't feel like we could just go out one  buy her a new fancy bike (like most of the parents did), so I went for a more "powder coated" look and used Shawnel's black glitter spray on top of a black matte.  It looked cool (in my opinion) but I did sort of feel sheepish as everyone else's little princesses rode around on new princess bikes (with little doll seats on the back for their American Girl Dolls).  Poor third children.  We will make it up to her someday with the most bad to the bone bike in the world.

Yay for Tiggers!
